Mansbridge Balment Plymouth has joined in the current industry debate about online customer service reviews with the message – you can trust in our top 40 in the country rating.

The debate was sparked when a lifestyle blogger, who got no viewings for her flat with an ‘online agency’, posted a low rating on Trustpilot, a review site, which was subsequently removed.

The blogger was advised that the review would only be reinstated if the service she had received was verified by the agent in question, which resulted in a flurry of social media activity about how review site ratings are managed.

Chris Mervyn, Branch and Marketing Manager at Mansbridge Balment’s Plymouth City office, said it was vital people could trust in the veracity of online review sites, which was why the agency was part of the UK’s biggest –

Mansbridge Balment is consistently ranked in the top 40 out of more than almost 15,000 estate agents nationwide on the Allagents site, widely regarded as the true benchmark for customer satisfaction among UK estate agents.

“Good or bad, we welcome customers' views on the experience they have received from us as we know how important it is that people can make an informed judgement about any service they are paying for,” said Chris.

“It is therefore vital that there is complete transparency when it comes to how such customer reviews are managed on these sites as transparency is something we particularly pride ourselves on delivering for every one of our customers.

“That is why we are now a top 40 agent, which is always striving to go even higher.”

Mansbridge Balment Plymouth has an excellent track record with the Allagents site, twice striking gold in its awards scheme in October last year.

The company was awarded the gold standard Estate Agent of the Year, as well as Best Agent in the city’s PL6 postcode.

Earlier in the year , a number of staff from both the agency’s Plymouth City and Plymouth North branches claimed gold, silver and bronze medals in the 2016 People Awards.
