Bere Alston's Victorian Evening was a Tremendous Success

Bere Alston's Victorian Evening was a tremendous success. Saturday night saw the village transformed into a nostalgic wonderland with bands, Morris dancers, bell ringers, steam engines and plenty more. As is customary, the Mansbridge Balment office magically became Santa’s Grotto for the evening and the great man had a constant queue of excited children waiting to see him. The prize for the best window display went to Cherry Cottage for an excellent Christmas scene.”
