Mansbridge Balment Plymouth is sharing in another football triumph.
The agency is the kit sponsor for Sporting Lipson’s Under 10s team, which has just secured promotion to the top division in the Devon Junior Minor League in the city.
The team lost just one game in the campaign finishing second in the Hessary League and will now go up to the top flight, Haytor League.
It’s another soccer success for one of Plymouth’s leading estate agencies after recently agreeing shirt sponsorship deals with two fellow Devon Junior Minor League clubs – Activate United and Woolwell Dynamos.
Chris Mervyn, whose son Luke is a defender with Sporting Lipson, said winning promotion was a tremendous achievement for everyone associated with the club.
“They have all worked really hard this season and thoroughly deserve their promotion. They have played some great football,” said Chris.
“The Devon Junior Minor League does such a tremendous job in giving youngsters of all ages the chance to play in a competitive football competition.
We are delighted to be able to support Sporting Lipson and be a part of their continuing success story.”
The agency stepped into to save the club’s shirt sponsorship deal in November 2016 after the original sponsor pulled out.
It is the agency’s Plymouth City Office which is sponsoring Activate United, while the Plymouth North Office has stepped in to help the Woolwell Dynamos.
Both offices are committed to supporting community projects where they can and have a strong association with sport in the city, which has included regular sponsorship of the Plymouth 10K Road Race.
